Acknowledgement of country

I humbly acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land where I work and live, the Kaurna people, and also the Traditional Owners of the lands I traverse and wherever I am offering my work at any time, including where students are in online classes. I pay my respects to Elders past and present. I celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land. I acknowledge the traditional wisdom that is handed down, and the solemn duty to care for country.

I honour the land, the country, the planet, our home. May we endeavour more and more to tread as lightly as the old ones, to preserve this home for the generations to come.
